Andrew Harvey is a world-renowned mystical scholar and teacher. Born in South India in 1952, he studied at Oxford University and became the youngest person ever awarded a fellowship to the prestigious All Souls College. He has devoted the past thirty years of his life to studying the world's various mystical traditions, and has taught at Oxford, Cornell, the California Institute of Integral Studies, and Wisdom University.

Andrew is the author of over thirty books, including Son of Man: The Mystical Path to Christ; The Return of the Mother; The Way of Passion: A Celebration of Rumi; The Direct Path: Creating a Personal Journey to the Divine Using the World’s Spiritual Traditions; Heart Yoga: The Sacred Marriage of Yoga and Mysticism. He is the Founder of The Institute for Sacred Activism, and in 2009 he published The Hope: A Guide to Sacred Activism.
